Hammocks are the primary sleeping arrangement in Vari Teka Village. A limited number of huts are available, but spaces are few and offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

At Vari Teka, our ethics are rooted in simplicity, respect, and humility.

Visitors are asked to honor the space by refraining from alcohol and drugs, limiting phone use, and approaching every interaction with care.

Respect and consent are essential: no photos are permitted during ceremonies, and permission should always be sought before filming or photographing.

For the well‑being of all, participants are required to share their medical history and current medications, as some conditions and treatments may present contraindications.

Daily contributions such as helping in the kitchen, gathering wood, or assisting with small tasks reflect the principle of reciprocity and support community life.

Please note, your immersion in Vari Teka is not tourism, but a transformative encounter with ancient people and a way of life that safeguards the ancestral wisdom of the Amazon.

Visiting Vari Teka Village is not a tourist experience — it is an opportunity to share in community life. Guests are welcomed as participants, not as tourists, and are invited to contribute in simple, meaningful ways such as helping clear a path, collecting leaves for traditional use, or assisting in the kitchen. These small acts of service honor the spirit of reciprocity, strengthen connection with the community, and reflect respect for the way of life in the village.

Immersions are guided in French, English, Portuguese, and Spanish, with translation support throughout the program.
