The Water Well Project, 2024
With the support of friends and the Association Vari Vena, the community of Vari Teka built its first drinking water well and showers in 2024. This project ended the struggle of walking long distances for clean water and brought lasting health, hygiene, and dignity to the village. Today, families, children, and visitors all benefit from safe water every day—a true gift that strengthens our wellbeing and autonomy.

Community Kupixawa, 2023
One of the very first collective projects in Vari Teka was the construction of a small kupixawa, made possible through generous donations and the dedicated work of Memy and Pina. For the Noke Koi, the kupixawa is the heart of the community—a sacred house for ceremonies, teachings, and gatherings where ancestral knowledge is shared. We are now rebuilding a larger structure to support us.

Pina Varinawa Album
Chief, pajé, and musician, Pina Varinawa carries the ancestral songs of the Noke Kuin into the present. His debut album shares sacred melodies born from the forest, weaving traditional chants with contemporary sounds to honor the spirits, the land, and the living memory of his people. Each song is both a prayer and a bridge—inviting listeners to feel the heartbeat of the Amazon.
