"Since I was a little girl, I have felt connected to the Amazon. The very first time my feet touched its soil, I felt as if I were home — even though it constantly required me to watch carefully where I stepped. Meeting the Noke Koi, more precisely the Varinawa & Kamanawa people, and even more personally the family of Pina & Memy, has been a true gift of life. The village of Vari Teka opened the doors of their home, their rhythm of life, their culture, and so much more. In this vegetal cocoon, I was able to fully immerse myself in this way of Living Together, in this ancestral wisdom, in this simple and authentic joy. I am filled with gratitude for having discovered a glimpse of the richness of this people, who preserve the Living through their way of life, their fauna and flora, their medicines, their songs, their art, and their legends. 'I have attended several events with the Noke Koî people in Europe. Meeting them marked a profound turning point in my life—both through the deep healing and through the ongoing inspiration they continue to offer me today. They embody powerful values of humanity in service to the Earth. With great generosity, they share their ancestral wisdom and the medicines that guide them. Even now, their songs continue to resonate in my heart, opening the path before me. Their words and prayers are like living seeds: they carry the energy of the Amazon jungle, planting in our hearts the hope of a new world—one we can protect and honor together. To meet them is not something that can truly be told; it must be lived. It is an experience that soothes the soul and fills the heart." Jade, France

"I had the opportunity to spend time with the Noke Koî in the village of Vari Teka. The community, including the children, welcomed us as if we were part of their family. I participated in Uni ceremonies and also undertook a Rapé diet. The Uni ceremonies were both intense and beautiful, offering me profound lessons that I am still integrating into my life nearly nine months later. I carried out the Rapé diet under the guidance of Piña, who was deeply committed to teaching me respect for the plant—its uses, its roots in their worldview, and its connection with the Samauma tree near the village. Overall, I consider this one of the most important experiences of my life. I was able to share deeply with wonderful people whom I value immensely, while also reconnecting with myself, learning from another worldview, and experiencing the power of the Brazilian Amazon." For me, the Noke Koî songs are the ones that touch me the deepest — they carry a power that goes far beyond words. Each melody feels alive, vibrating with ancestral memory and the spirit of the forest itself. When they sing, it’s as though the earth, the trees, and the wind are joining in, weaving a sound that reaches straight into the heart. The way the Noke Koi work with healing is equally profound. Their ceremonies are not just rituals — they are acts of love, humility, and deep connection with the natural world. Every gesture, every chant, every silence holds intention and wisdom passed down through generations. I am continually moved by their warmth, their openness, and the simplicity with which they live and share their traditions. Being with them reminds me what it truly means to live in harmony — with nature, with community, and with spirit. Thomas, France

"The first time I met Piña, Memy, and Nawashavo from the Noke Koi tribe was about two years ago. Since then, I’ve seen Piña around three times. My wife and I both enjoy his lively music—she even says he carries a kind of Mexican energy, and we later learned that he has spent time in Mexico studying the culture there. About a year ago, we met Paje Kaku, Pana, and Memy, and that gathering became one of the most memorable ceremonies I’ve ever experienced. Their prayers felt so authentic and powerful. I had heard similar words with other tribes before, but the chanting of the Noke Koi was so strong that it felt as though the gates of heaven were opening through the energy they created. I truly hope we will have the chance to meet the Noke Koi again in Finland next year." Narahari, Finland

"I can’t tell how grateful I am with meeting and being with Pana, Memy, Pajé Wesi and Clara. I saw them 3 times this year. While I was doing the job, continuing healing myself and supporting others, I received immense keys by their sharings and wisdom. I feel they supported my transformation in many levels. I can more deeply feel myself now, be more in contact with what I want and like instead of doing what others wants from me. I deeply recommend you to meet them whatever you face in your life right now. Haux haux" Sandra

"My story with the Noke Koî began almost three years ago, when I met Clara at Aline’s home. This encounter with Clara and with the beautiful delegation that I had the honor of welcoming several times into my home — and with whom I have grown close — brought into my life, and into the lives of the people around me, a love, a generosity, a wisdom, and a learning that I could never have imagined just a few years ago, at a time when I knew nothing about the original peoples of my own country, Brazil. I hold a deep admiration and immense pride for these peoples who have sacrificed so much to continue existing and to preserve the secrets and the enchantments of the forest across generations. It is wonderful — and so precious! Infinite gratitude to the Kamanawa and Varinawa families for being part of my life, for sharing so much with me — it is impossible to put into words everything I learn from them, from their culture, and from their medicines. I carry an immense love, overflowing from my heart, for this incredible woman, Clara — to me, a great example of integrity, love, and joy! And just as much for Panan, Memy, Pina, Nawashavo, Pajé Kaku, Pajé Wesy, and Kanamashi, my niece at heart. We are blessed by Koka Pino Txari through these beings of light, guardians of the medicines, protectors of the forests — those who remind us what it means to be human, to be connected to nature, to live in gratitude, to smile at life, and to use the wisdom of the animals to live this existence we have been given in the most beautiful, divine, and sacred way."
